Welcome to Mamarama: Childbirth Educator and Maternal-Child Health Advocate
Eight years ago I started my public access show Mamarama about being a parent and the issues we deal with everyday. On my show and in my blog I never dictate a particular style or philosophy, but encourage diaglogue and exploration as an ordinary parent just like you, with our own strengths and weaknesses. My show has always addressed all sides of the parenting experience with an emphasis on pregnancy and childbirth. I studied first as a doula, then as a childbirth educator (click classes for more information.) I teach childbirth education and newborn care to pregnant teens in Jersey City high schools as well as adult couples (in groups and privately.)
